am an author, attorney, and media personality currently co-hosting the Higher Learning podcast and the Morally Corrupt podcast.
As of 2026, I am working on a new book of essays exploring divorce and life transitions. Prior to my media career, I practiced law at Cooper & Scully, P.C. in Dallas.

My career highlights include authoring the essay collection Miss Me With That: Hot Takes, Helpful Tidbits, and a Few Hard Truths as well as making my fiction debut with Real Love. I made history as the first Black lead on The Bachelorette, after appearing as a contestant on The Bachelor.

I am an ambassador for the College Football Playoff Foundation and serve on the advisory council for the University of Texas at Austin College of Education. I am passionate about politics and current affairs.

I live in Los Angeles with my dogs, Copper and Brownie.
